I am an assistant professor of Indigenous, multicultural, and world literatures in the Department of English at Utah Tech University (previously Dixie State University) in St. George, Utah. I focus on Dene/Athabaskan languages and literatures, Indigenous literatures in Canada and the US, ancient and contemporary Mesopotamian literatures, and comparative poetics via environmental theory and discourse analysis. I also teach research data ethics, digital tools for community research, and academic writing. This site is to share examples of my work alongside resources for language activism.
